Born in Valencia in 2001, Edu Alonso has shown from a very young age that his destiny was linked to high-level padel. Spanish Champion on five occasions and three times World Champion, Alonso has grown as a player and at the same time has established himself as one of the most promising players on the professional circuit. Since his debut on the World Padel Tour in 2020, Edu has worked with unwavering determination, accumulating experience and achievements that have led him to position himself in the elite of world padel.
Currently, the Valencian holds the 14th position in the ranking of the International Padel Federation (FIP), having as one of his main goals to enter the Top 10 worldwide. With his talent and determination, he continues to demonstrate in every match that he is part of the new generation of Spanish players called to write their name in the history of padel.
A player in full evolution
Edu Alonso has become a regular in the final stages of the Premier Padel circuit, being considered one of the most regular players. His last season was one of the best of his career, closing it with great results such as his semifinals in the Premier Padel Finals and in the Milano Premier Padel P1, demonstrating that he is more than ready to face final rounds of top level competitions. With a constant projection and an increasingly solid performance, Edu continues to demonstrate that his ceiling is still far from being reached.
