He arrived in Spain in 2017 when he was just 17 years old with NOX to train with Pablo Crosetti, current Sports Coordinator of the Nox Future Academy (NFA). A young man with a talent out of the ordinary that over the years went from being nicknamed 'El Pollito' to be known by all as 'El Mozart de Catamarca', a nickname earned by doing impossible in every match and against any opponent. For us it has been a privilege to have accompanied him from his beginnings in professionalism until his rise to number 1 in the world ranking of padel, a milestone achieved through hard work and dedication.
We all remember the final of the WPT Vigo Open 2023 that led him to lead the world circuit for the first time, a feat he would repeat later that year in Mexico to close the season as number 1. A dream 2023 that closed with no less than eleven titles.
Whoever thought that the good streak ended with the end of the season was wrong. The first quarter of Premier Padel has concluded with three tournaments in his pocket, including the Qatar Major, and a final. A start to the season that makes it clear that Agustin has worked very hard in the preseason to arrive in the best possible shape. A physique that perfectly complements the talent to which we are already more than used to.
