NOX SIGNS ANTOMI RAMOS TO DEVELOP ITS FIRST BEACH TENNIS COLLECTION

Nox - official World Padel Tour sponsor - and Antomi Ramos - current number 3 in the Beach Tennis World Ranking - have signed a sponsorship agreement, whereby the Canary Islander will become the new face of the brand and serve as main advisor for the development of its first beach tennis racket collection, planned for launch at the end of April, 2020.

According to Jesús Ballvé, General Manager of NOX, “Our vision has always been to be a globally-recognised racket sports brand. We've been following the development of beach tennis for some time now, and seen how it's begun to breakthrough in countries like Italy and Brazil, where our brand is already well established. As Miguel Lamperti did with padel tennis, Antomi Ramos will act as both the new face of the brand for beach tennis and design consultant for the development of our new racket collection. We're incredibly proud to have Antomi Ramos on our team, not just because of his incredible achievements in sport, but also because of the values he displays on and off the court&mdashthose of hard work, sacrifice and humility&mdashwhich align completely with our brand ethos."

Antomi Ramos, 26, from Gran Canaria, is the best Spanish beach tennis player in the history of the sport. Amongst his many wins he counts more than 30 ITF titles, the 2018 World Championship, and the 2019 Beach Sports World Championship, as well as 9 Spanish championships. In 2019, he reached the top spot in the world ranking, becoming the first Spanish player ever to do so.

In the words of Ramos himself: “Signing for NOX is a dream come true; it's the cherry on top of a spectacular sporting year in 2019. It seems incredible that a Spanish brand like NOX is choosing to invest in beach tennis, and I'm sure it will be a major boost for the professionalisation of our sport. I only wish for two things in 2020: To end the year as number 1 in the ranking, and for NOX’s first beach tennis racket collection to prove a success with fans."
